The four procedures of wood pellet production line
Turning wastes into particles is an complex process. It consists of crushing, drying, pelletizing, cooling and packing. Except from pellet machine, we also need to prepare something else, such as wood crusher, dust collectors, belt conveyors, hot air stove, dryer, induced draft fan, bag filter, silo, skip hoist, distribution platform, cooler, baler and so on. So do you know how to make pellet fuel?
First of all, make sure that materials is desirable. Its diameter should be less than five millimeters and the moisture content is less than 8%. If not, put them into drum chipper to make them smaller, then put raw materials into wood crusher. That’s the crushing procedures.
Now raw materials become powder. After removing dust, they are transmitted to the dryer by belt conveyors. With the help of hot air stove and induced draft fan, the temperature inside the dryer becomes extremely high and when materials go through it, the procedure of drying is finished.
Next, materials are sent to the silo by a conveyor, and then it climbs onto the distribution platform, which is above the pellet machine. Under the influence of gravity, materials are distributed to different machines. That’s the pelletizing process.
Several minutes later, particles get out of pellet mill. By flat conveyor, particles are going to enter into the cooler and prepare to be packed bag by bag.

Crusher is the equipment which is mainly used for processing branches, wood chips, waste wood, bamboo materials into powder during the pretreatment stage.

This kind of dryer has the advantages of direct heating, quickly drying, folding installation and saving space. Air dryer is mainly composed of hot blast stove (the users should bring along their own), screw feeder, surge bin, duct, fan, cyclone dust collector etc. Hot air is mainly from oil burner, gas stove, coal-fired stove or steam heat exchanger. When it works, negative pressure generated by fan airflow, then materials enter into the air duct through the spiral feeder, meanwhile hot air get chance to mix with the material. Thus moisture has to be separated from materials with the help of cyclone dust collector, which reaches the effect of thoroughly drying. At last, waste hot water and steam come out from the top end of cyclone dust collector. The dying powder enters into next procedure.
3. Pellet machine
